DESIGN SINTEZ 

 Calc Base The additional module to Design Sintez for calculation of the charges of materials necessary for manufacture of units, participating in the project. Accounting with the maximal accuracy and strictness the value offer for the client. Prepares the specification of the charge on materials for each unit (furniture) and for the project.

   The module uses 2 basic kinds of units  price offer calculating: units with entered fixed prices and units with a generated element nomenclature.

1. The units with entered fixed price - they are non-standard units created by the module New Base. They participate in the price offer with the entered price in the Units register (they have a unit of measure "number"). The units kept in Archival units register do not participate in price calculating.

2. Units with a created element nomenclature. It contains 2 subgroups:

à/ Units with entered by the operator element nomenclature -They are non-standard units created by module New Base, but they have a unit of measure "package" and element nomenclature, entered by the operator (modules Nomenclature elements and  Nomenclature units). All elements change their account norm for each change of the units sizes , in which they participate, depending on the unit measure and their position in it. To use these units for price offer generating,you must place them in the Unit register.

b/ Generated multielement units - They are units generated by modules Cabinet, Bottom cases, Sink casess, Angular cabinet, Stands, Worktop, Additional elements. These modules automatically create the element nomenclature of the generated units (when the option Create an element nomenclature is active). 

 To generate the price offer, you should have entered materials for connecting with elements of units in the project (Nomenclature Materials). The calculated total quantity  on elements in the current project connects to materials for end price formation of the project.




 
Nomenclatures for formation of prices: materials, elements, units

    Creation and definition of nomenclatures is obligatory at work with units with a measure a package. The first step is entering of  Nomenclature Elements and after that the Nomenclature of  units. The nomenclature Materials can be changed always during work. This sequence of creation of nomenclatures is not obligatory. You can update them gradually.  You will save time and work, if use already created nomenclatures of elements for creation of units.

  Volume of nomenclatures: Nomenclature of elements  - 5000 records (rows), Nomenclature of  units -1000, Nomenclature units - elements (productive form from linkage of elements to units) - 10000 records (rows). You can receive the information on a status of nomenclatures in the module " Test of units " - > operation Capacity of nomenclatures. Here you can clean the nomenclature Units - Elements too.

Nomenclature of elements

   
The set of elements creates a construction of units. The nomenclature of elements creates  unitary and can be used repeatedly for different units. The elements are real parts of unit, they have no the sizes, and automatically accept the sizes of the unit.  Their characteristics are relations with unit. To create a new element in nomenclature , press the button New, mark with a mouse the created new empty  row and enter of its relations in fields under the list.

The deviations of elements are set in centimeters.

The name of an element can be any text on cyrillics or Latinic alphabet. The sections Position and Deviation consider an element and probable unit, in which it will participate in relation to coordinate system in a position in a view top. 
 
The position describes a position of an element in unit, for example: unit (bottom case) with the sizes on X-60, Y-72, Z-56. We create an element " vertical wall " with a position on Y and on Z. It means, that in each unit, in which you have connected this element, it will accept automatically sizes of unit on Y and on Z, independently what are they and will calculate the quadrature of an element.  If  into a field "Quantity" is entered  "2", the program will establish, that at you two walls and will double calculated quadrature. In fields for a position it is necessary to add marks (on X, on Y or on Z - in this case on Y and on Z). The group of  fields  Deviation set a firm discrepancy of an element in relation to unit.
 I.e. an element of unit "shelf" has a deviation on X - 3.6  cm. (1.8 centimeters at the left and 1.8 centimeters on the right) and on Z - 1.8 centimeters (cm. ) till the reason a back of a cabinet. At definition of a measure of an element it is necessary to comprehend it with a measure of a material, which will be used. After entering  of the relations of an element to unit you can make the test about a correctness in logic of definition (press the button Verification). The elements, connected to unit, remain in his(its) nomenclature and after removal(deleting ) of an element from the Nomenclature of elements.

  

Nomenclature of units

The Nomenclature of units is derivative of  the Register of units and is intended to configure the formation of the price offer, the quantity of materials and their automatic cutting.   The units are create in the Register of units with a unit of measure "package" and are configured as a package from elements in the Nomenclature of units.   To add new unit for creation of its element nomenclature, use the same button (New unit). Press the button Register of units, which  become active and choose unit, necessary for you, from the inventory. Then press the button  Choice. Add elements, necessary for you, to the created new nomenclature consistently (button Adds elements) from the Nomenclature elements (opened only for a choice) in a view, in which they are created. Each unit can have unlimited number of elements. 
The connected elements to unit save in it  and their correction or the removal(deleting) from the Nomenclature Elements is not reflected in a configuration of unit. At similar or identical configurations of elements in various till the name units (difference in the sizes for example), you can copy a set of elements of already configured unit (Copies elements) and then only to create their copy as a configuration (Moves elements) to other units. The deleting of units from the nomenclature is not reflected on the Register of units.

The sizes of units are in centimeters.

Use the button Print to print out a nomenclature configuration of elements of the chosen units in Excel or OpenOffice Calc.  Opens  new empty list, in which loads the chosen unit for printing of its element structure (after the specifing  of unit in the inventory with the nomenclature of units) .At a wrong choice of unit of the nomenclature make the following: mark unit in the list for printing and press the right button to erase it. The inventory of units for printing erases automatically after start of printing (button Print). 

 
Nomenclature materials

In the Nomenclature Materials are described real materials, from which there will be produced elements or are elements participating in units. The materials connect to elements only at generation of the price offer. At additition of a new material (the button New) is necessary to be entered a Name of  material, Sale price, Measure and the defined from a measure  sizes of a material.  If a measure is  "l.m"., then enter the size on X, if "sq.m". - on X and on Y. A view for sizes entering  is  view top.

The new material is above marked in the list. Buttons Line downwards and Line upwards change a sequence of the list (array). Mark a material and press one of these buttons depending on the chosen  moving direction.  The change of materials sequence of in the main list gives reflection on this on groups, too.

Classification of materials by groups - Create group or choose such from the list  Groups with materials. Mark a material for addition and press the button  Register material in group.  

The button Verification makes a logic test of the entered sizes and chosen measure. Their entered prices it is necessary to answer on a respective unit of measure (number - individual price, sq.m. - price of square meter, l.m.. - price of linear meter). You can add and change the nomenclature of materials  each time.

 

 

Price offer formation

Oferta_wyz The module calculates automatically price of the project on the base of participating in the project units (on base of the entered prices of units or materials for their manufacture).In the process of price offer generation participate all units with generated element nomenclature (when their element nomenclature is connected with materials) and the units which have entered price in the Unit  register.
 

The operation fetches all participating units from the graphic project. For units with a measure, different from a package you must define the prices from a column (entered in the Register of units  columsn with the prices). By default is accepted a price column "1".  You can choose other column, marking unit and changing number in a field. If you want to make a specification of the quantity of elements on units òîî, mark a field On units. 

The units, participating in the projects but not saved into the Unit register, are ignored automatically at creation of the inventory with units. The button Offer  starts the operation Formation of the price offer. After an exit from AutoCAD the made configurations for  formation of the prices (number of a column) and charge of elements (the choice of a material) save and  will be set automatically at next opening of the graphic project. For units with a measure "package" is necessary to be chosen materials (button Register of elements). 

After an exit from the module the made configurations (choice of the price of unit from the Unit regiser and connecting of element nomenclatures with materials) are saved. She sets automatically when the operation Price offer formation opens again. If you want that the units with a unit measure "package" participated in the price offer, connect their elements with materials (button Register of elements). It opens the form Register of participating in the project elements (see image below).

  • The specified with  " from the project " units are real-existing in the project.  Additional are  those units which do not exist in the project and are added at operation Formation of the price offer (to participate at formation of the prices and calculation of the charge of materials only ). Keeps the added units to the list for generating at subsequent starts of operation. If it is not active, then the additional units are lost.

Operations:

Add-   Shows in a new window the content of  the Register of units for a choice of unit with the purpose of their addition to the list for generating .

Delete -  Deletes the marked unit (row)  from the list for generating . The units with a description " from the project " load  again at the following start of operation and creation of the list  ( they can be erased only temporarily). The specified as "additional" are lost.

ATTENTION! The units with corrected sizes keep their new value  after an exit from operation, but they  don't change their real sizes in the project.   It can become the reason for discrepancies and complexity in operation Change sizes of unit, where unit will be entered with the sizes, which will be not real.

The button Offer opens  specification to the already made price offer in Excel or OpenOffice (if certainly you have connected of the generated element nomenclature with materials and have defined the prices of units, which have fixed prices).

The option On units  adds a detailed list for the charge on elements for each unit to the printed specification.

Section Elements in the inventory includes the specification of calculated charge for each participating element in used in the project units.  Their quantities are  calculated and summarized on the basis of their relations with units and depending on their measure.  Mark an element from the inventory. In the list to the right of it  will be loaded materials from the same nomenclature with the unit of measure adequate(answering) to a measure of a marked element for connecting with a material. Choose a material and press the button between them (Choice of  material). The operator can choose a material from group or from the complete list with materials. Specify and connect consistently elements appropriate to the marked material or other material in the list. The prices of units submitted in the inventory as elements (a measure, different from a package), are accepted automatically from the specified column in the Register of units. You, certainly, can set to them a material, if the structure of unit allows this.

  There is a small window with the description of the materials, connected with elements in the project ( in the right bottom corner of the form) . It is intended for group selection of elements, connected with a concrete material and their connecting with other material. Mark a material from the list. In the left field are specified all elements connected to it . Choose other material from the nomenclature and connect the marked elements with it.

- This button opens the module Nomenclatures for price formation. She allows the operator to open Nomenclature materials and to create a new material for connecting with elements without leaving of the current operation (Price offer formation). Enter a new material and save the made changes in the nomenclature. The made changes become seen in the working list after an exit from the module Nomenclatures for price formation.


ATTENTION! For units from the project, which have only one element and unit of measure, different from "package" and  having entered prices in the register of units on columns, the price from the Register of units is accepted priority  ( according to chosen columns:1-4 ), regardless of the fact that you connect an element to a material. To connect an element with a material, the prices on a column in the Register of units it is necessary to be made 0. For example: if for the identifier of the generated horizontal table-top "TK" is entered a price in the column 1 ("Price 1") at operation  Price offer formation (even if to connect the element with a material from the nomenclature), in a consequence the program will cancel connecting, restoring the price from the Units Register.



Press the button Offer to print out the specification. The specification creates in a file "C:\Proekti.xls"  or "C:\Proekti.ods" , in format  Microsoft Excel from Microsoft Office or OpenOffice Calc, which is created on your disk at installation of Design Sintez (The choice of program makes in the form Parameters of system.).

 The specification can be detailed (separately for each unit) or generalized. The option On units prints à detailed specification.  Irrespective of the chosen kind of the specification  always under the inventories of participating units is you can see the total calculation on elements and materials, chosen for them.

After the end of processing Excel (or OpenOffice) will ask you  whether  you want to save  changes in the file. Press Cancel and you can change or in addition process the made specification. If you choose No, the table closes without saving. If you choose Yes, it closes, being saved as page in a file Proekti. Subsequently you can open this file again and make changes in the chosen page.  Closing it, Design Sintez automatically returns you in AutoCAD, in the current working project.

The generated and written down (saved) price offers remain as pages in Proekti.xls (or Proekti.ods), whether irrespective of the saved  graphic projects or removed.   Excel and OpenOffice support up to 256 pages in one file.Therefore it is necessary  to look through and to delete the unnecessary offers (page) periodically.  The address and the name of a file Proekti.xls (or  Proekti.ods) must not to be changed, as well as name of page Prices

Example for description of elements of unit

This example creates in New Base unit  "bottom angular right case". It is necessary to be entered in the Nomenclature of units and connected with  its compound elements. The coordinate system, in which the units for definition of  Position and Deviation  of elements, corresponds on a View top, and place of axes Y and Z are turned .

Element_1s  

1. Enter the unit (block) into the Register of units, its file name; the sizes described in the Register of units and a unit of measure  - package.

2. In the Nomenclature of elements activate the button New and enter your user's name into a field  Name of  element  (in an example - element 1).

3. Define the  position of an element in relation to unit entering 1 in a field answering on a respective axis of coordinate system (in this  example this element lays in unit on Y and on Z).

4. This element participates in unit only once (Quantity = 1). Regardless of the fact that the element 2 is possible to be with the identical sizes, it is necessary to be described separately.

5. Enter deviations of an element in relation to the åùåôä  sizes of unit on axes (Position), independently what are they (you can change the sizes of unit for the different projects).

6. Enter an individual measure of an element. It will define a way of calculation of the material charge (in an example - sq.m.). When you generate the price offer an element will connect to a material from the nomenclature, at which unit of measure is "sq.m.".  

 Here all sizes are in centimetres too.

  

Element_2s

Independently, that in more cases the elements 1 and 2 will be with the identical sizes, they should not be described as one element. In unit they have a different position in coordinate system. When you change the sizes of unit on X or Z  the new size will not be reflected on that element, in which the axis on which is made change in the sizes of unit, does not participate. 

1. Enter  Name of element (in example - element 2).

2. Define a position of an element in relation to unit (in an example this element lays in unit on Y and on X).

3. Enter Quantity = 1

4. Enter deviations on Y - completeness of a material for a floor and ceiling, which hold an element and on X - for completeness of a material of a wall, in which it abuts and residual distance  up to the end of a case. 

5. Define Measure = sq.m.

   1. Enter Name of element (in an example - element 3).

2. Defin a position of an element in relation to unit (as an example this element lays in unit on Z and on X). This element  calculates on the whole current size of unit, regardless of the fact that it is necessary to be cut out in one edge. By this way the piece is accepted as loss and is included in the price for the client.

3. Enter Quantity = 2 (for a floor and ceiling)

4. Define Measure = sq.m.

Element_3s

1. Enter Name of element (in an example - element 4).

2. Defin a position of an element in relation to unit (as an example this element lays in unit on Y and on Z).

3. Enter Quantity = 1

4. Enter deviations  on Y - completeness of a material for a floor and ceiling, which hold an element and on Z - for completeness of a material a back, on which the element abuts.

5. Define Measure = sq.m.

Element_4s

1.Enter Name of element (in an example - element 5).

2. Defin a position of an element in relation to unit (as an example this element lays in unit on Y and on X).

3. Enter Quantity = 1

4. Enter deviations  on Y - completeness of a material for a floor and ceiling, which hold an element

5. Define Measure = sq.m..

Element_5s

1.Enter Name of element (in an example - element 6)

2. Defin a position of an element in relation to unit (as an example this element lays in unit on Z and on X).

3. Enter Quantity = 1 (for two shelves)

4. Enter deviations on Z and on X for completeness of walls

5. . Define Measure = sq.m..

Element_6s

1.Enter Name of element (in an example - element 7)

2. Enter Quantity =  6

3. Define Measure = number. At this unit of measure in the Register of units it is necessary to have the entered price though in the first column.

 Element_7s

Element_8_kant   The edgeband creates as an element for each of three axes separately and  defines  in a Measure = l.m. At construction of unit you can choose an element repeatedly to receive  the quantity, necessary for you, with which it participates in unit.
You must previously  check up in the Nomenclature elements for elements with already created  structure, necessary to you. The  purpose is to not create identical elements with different names only. In the considered example are not included edgebands. This example is constructed in details, but you can create similar element structure, using the ordinary rectangular form without the walls, shelfs, legs (which however must be included in it element nomenclature).The description of elements is external structure and in the projects the current sizes of units are used only which allows to use repeatedly same unit in the same project, but with the different sizes.

 

 

Formation of the prices and automatic cutting - Step by step

Subject of formation of the prices and automatic cutting are the projects containing units with the previously created element structure or generated element structures and units (cases, stands , doors, cabinets).

The manually configured units with a measure "package" participate at formation of the prices and cutting, and those with a measure "number" - only at formation of the prices.

To use the generated units, when you generate them, put a mark on an option " Create the element nomenclature " (then the element structure creates and connects automatically). You can add up to 6 additional elements to the generated element nomenclature of each unit (from existing in the Nomenclature of elements). 

For the purposes of the  formation of the prices for at all materials, with which the elements connects , it is necessary to have an entered price, a for the purposes of the cutting- sizes.

1. Open  new empty project and save it  under your user name.

2.   Add in the project units with the created element nomenclature or generate necessary to you.

3.  Open operation " Formation of price offer ".

       3.1. Activate the button "Elements" and connect the different elements with concrete materials (button " Choice of material ").

       3.2. Press the button "Offer" to print  or to correct the generated price offer. Always opens new page in Åõñål or Open Office, where you can look and correct. If you want to print out the detailed offer, put a mark before an option " Dissecting on units " and press the button "Offer". Choose Cancel, that the page was not closed.

It is useful to know that, that after loading of the sheet in Åõñål you must choose continuation. Choose "Cancel".  Otherwise it closes (if you choose "Yes"  it will be saved, if will choose "No" - the sheet will be  closed without saving). The sheet saves in a file "C:\Proekti.xlc" (or "C:\Proekti.ods"). After the end of work close page in Excel (OpenOffice) with or without saving  (your choice).

4. After the end of operation " Formation of price offer " begin operation Cutting. The module will be established in an automatic mode of cutting (it is necessary to be in  the original project at the moment of activation of module). The form for a choice of continuation opens. Possible  variants are 2:.

       4.1. "Moves content of units on elements in Excel" - Includes: Name of element; the sizes on two axes; a name of unit, to which  belong elements; quadrature / length and others.

       4.2. "Cutting materials on elements" - Opens the form " Cutting of materials Cut Base ".  Here you must  choose a material with connected to it elements for cutting.  Adjust options of cutting and press "Set ".  The original project will be saved  and closed. The operation opens new project for  executionof the cutting. Received cutting  can be printed.  Close the projectt.  To execute again the same cutting , you must  be in the original project. After each change of units in the project, it is necessary to execute again  " Formation of price offer " before start of the cutting.
